After lunch, visit the sacred House of Mary, a tranquil site believed to be the final dwelling place of the Virgin Mary. Experience the rustic charm of Şirince Village, nestled in the picturesque hills of Turkey. Stroll through cobblestone streets lined with quaint houses adorned with vibrant bougainvillea. Your day begins with a comfortable 3-hours journey through the picturesque Turkish countryside. As you leave Kusadasi behind, you’ll be greeted by rolling hills, charming villages, and lush landscapes.

Savour a delicious lunch at a local restaurant offering panoramic views of Pamukkale and the surrounding landscapes. Indulge in authentic Turkish cuisine, including a variety of traditional dishes that will tantalize your taste buds.

Upon arrival, explore the captivating ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient Greco-Roman city dating back to the 2nd century BCE. Your guide will transport you back in time as you stroll through well-preserved theatres, temples, baths, and necropolises. Gain insights into the daily life and culture of this once-thriving city as you marvel at its intricate architecture and archaeological wonders.

Next, prepare to be dazzled by the awe-inspiring Pamukkale travertines, also known as Cotton Castle, often referred to as the “Cotton Castle.” These stunning terraces are formed by the flow of mineral-rich waters from natural hot springs. The dazzling white terraces resemble a cascading waterfall frozen in time, creating an otherworldly landscape that is perfect for photography. Don’t forget your swimwear, as you’ll have the chance to soak in the soothing hot springs and rejuvenate your body in this unique geological wonder.

After the tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis Ancient City, drive back to Kusadasi. 

Your day starts with a pick up from the hotel and a drive to Kadıköy pier, nearby Haydar Pasha train station, from which the Orient Express trains departed for Baghdad. Historical fish market, trying local street food, having lunch in a restaurant is not an option. Further on, visit to the oldest French confectionery in Constantinople, opened in 1807. Walk through the streets decorated with graffiti artists of Istanbul; a lot of shops of unusual clothes, decor items and accessories. We cross the Kadikoy/Moda border, visit the underground chapel of St. Catherine with a healing spring inside. Our tour will continue at Kuzguncuk, a lovely district famous for its colourful houses, authentic pastries and beautiful terraces overlooking Bosphorus.

Our day will start at Dolmabahçe Palace located in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European coast of the Bosporus strait, served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1922.  Dolmabahçe is the largest palace in Turkey. It has an area of 45,000 m2. The design contains eclectic elements from the Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassical styles, blended with traditional Ottoman architecture to create a new synthesis. The palace layout and décor reflect the increasing influence of European styles and standards on Ottoman culture and art during the Tanzimat period.   

After lunch our tour will continue exploring Istanbul at Ortaköy district. The Neo-Baroque style Ortaköy Mosque is a beautifully ornate structure, right on the jetty of Ortaköy, bordering the waters of the Bosphorus, and thus highly visible from the passing boats. The day will finish at Grand Bazaar of Istanbul. One of the most exciting and captivating markets in Istanbul.

Embark on a leisurely walk along Istiklal Avenue, a bustling thoroughfare adorned with shops, restaurants, art galleries, and historic landmarks. The journey takes you through Beyoğlu district, leading to the enchanting neighborhood of Galata. As you approach the Galata Tower, wander through a cobblestone street resonating with the melodies of music shops. Conclude your day with a visit to the Egyptian Spice Market, where you can stock up on aromatic saffron, spices, and delectable Turkish delight. The market offers a sensory journey into Istanbul’s rich culinary heritage.

Today morning, meet at True Blue Tour office, at the heart of old town! You will embark upon a fully guided tour of the city that spans two continents, Europe and Asia.

You will start the tour at Hippodrome of Constantinople – a historic arena that once witnessed chariot races and grand festivities. Today, it stands as an open-air museum, adorned with timeless monuments like the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Step into a timeless journey at Hagia Sophia, a mesmerizing blend of Byzantine grandeur and Ottoman splendor. Originally a cathedral, then a mosque, and later a museum, this architectural marvel boasts an iconic dome and intricate mosaics, telling tales of centuries past. Then, Basilica Cistern – an ancient underground reservoir that breathes history beneath the bustling streets of Istanbul. The Basilica Cistern invites you to step into a hidden world beneath Istanbul, where ancient engineering meets captivating aesthetics. Let the echoes of the past surround you in this subterranean sanctuary. Conclude your today at the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets of the world with 4,000 stores.

Please meet your guide at Eminönü Meydan, right in front of the large “ISTANBUL” sign located in the main square. This is the open plaza area between the Eminönü tram station and the ferry piers, very close to the New Mosque (Yeni Camii). The “ISTANBUL” sign is easy to spot and a popular photo spot in the square. Your guide will be waiting there. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. Begin your day with a classic Turkish breakfast in a local café. Enjoy fresh-brewed tea, simit (sesame bagel), olives, cheese, and honey with cream.

Wander through the historic Spice Bazaar, stopping to taste Turkish delight, roasted nuts, dried fruits, and street food staples.

Sail from Europe to Asia with a short, scenic ferry ride. Breathe in the sea air, sip tea on board, and enjoy the best panoramic views of the city skyline.

Once you arrive in Asia, taste your way through one of Istanbul’s most loved food neighborhoods. Try börek (flaky pastry stuffed with cheese or meat), kokoreç (a bold and spicy street favorite), seasonal mezes, olives, cheeses, pickles, and fresh wood-fired lahmacun (Turkish-style pizza).

End on a high note in a cozy local café. Learn the art of Turkish coffee, choose from baklava, künefe, or rice pudding.

Depart from the hotel and get on the ferry to visit the biggest island of the ridge Büyükada. The trip by ferry will take about 1.5 hours through azure waters of Marmara Sea. You’ll hop on electric cars to get to one of the highest points of the island. Ascent to the Greek monastery of St. George (the most famous monastery of Istanbul for its miracles). Then, walk along the most beautiful streets of the island, visit the villas of the Ottoman nobles. The day will continue at the Eastern part of the island: Home of Trotsky, John Pasha’s mansion, the Princes’ Islands Yacht Club, the legendary Splendid Hotel.                                                    

Return to Istanbul with the public ferry in the afternoon.

Wake up before dawn for one of the most unforgettable experiences of your trip — a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the magical landscape of Cappadocia. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the early morning and transferred to the launch site, where you’ll enjoy a light pre-flight breakfast as the balloons are prepared. As the sun begins to rise, soar gently into the sky and witness the breathtaking views of Cappadocia’s unique rock formations, fairy chimneys, and ancient valleys bathed in golden light. The flight typically lasts about one hour, with plenty of photo opportunities from above. After landing, celebrate your journey with a traditional champagne toast and receive a flight certificate. You’ll return to your hotel by mid-morning with plenty of time to relax or continue exploring the region.

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 09:00-09:30 and start the day visiting Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley”, this is the most surreal-looking landscape. Your next stop will be Pashabagi called also the Monks Valley because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity, it´s possible to see all the stages in the formation of fairy chimneys at this spot. Proceed to Avanos (Vanessa) the pottery center of Cappadocia, this village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The river gets its name from the red clay it deposits. You can watch the potters at work using kick wheels, the technique which has remained unchanged for generations. Lunch. Continue to the Goreme Open Air Museum. The world´s most important Byzantine cave churches are found in these once remote valleys where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Here you can see the best-preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of Seljuk rule. Icons with scenes from the Old Testament and the New Testament above portraits of Church Fathers and saints depict the structure of the Byzantine universe. Panoramic viewpoint Esentepe. With a spectacular view over Goreme from Esentepe see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations, and cave houses.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
