Filming-site access can change, and not every set remains permanently preserved. The journey should distinguish confirmed filming locations from places included for visual similarity or broader cinematic context.
The original route contains an impractical Merzouga-to-Fes transfer of around eight hours after desert activities. A tailor-made version should normally add an intermediate overnight or select a different end point.
