Day 1- Izmir

Known today as Izmir, this vibrant coastal city was once a powerful trading hub, praised in the Book of Revelation for its unwavering

Wander through the Ancient Agora of Smyrna, one of the best-preserved marketplaces of the ancient world, where merchants once thrived under Roman Empire. Observe the Church of Polycarp (from outside due to renovation works), dedicated to Bishop Polycarp, a disciple of John the Apostle, who bravely faced martyrdom rather than deny Christ.

Transfer to the hotel after the end of the tour. You will receive the room key, and the rest of the day is yours to explore Izmir.

Overnight: Izmir

Meals Included: Lunch

Day 2 - Pergamon & Thyatira

Start the day with the journey to Pergamon, the former capital of Asia Minor, where power, intellect, and faith once collided. This city, renowned for its grandeur and influence, was a major centre of pagan worship, earning its biblical reference as the home of “Satan’s Throne” (Revelation 2:13). Walk through the Acropolis of Pergamon, where the imposing Altar of Zeus once stood. Marvel the ruins left from Great Library of Pergamon, once second only to Alexandria’s famed collection, and stand in the Pergamon Theatre, one of the world’s steepest ancient theatres, offering stunning hillside views.

Next, we drive to Thyatira, a bustling trade city known for its guilds and commerce, but also for its struggle with false teachings. Explore the Ruins of Thyatira, where remnants of early Christian presence can still be seen among the columns and streets. Visit the Temple of Apollo, once a centre of pagan worship, where the influence of Roman and Greek beliefs challenged the Christian community. After a day of discovery, you will return to Izmir for a well-earned rest.

Note: Today's total driving distance is 290 km (approx. 4.5 hours).

Overnight: Izmir

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 3 - Sardis – Philadelphia – Laodicea

Travel to the once-glorious city of Sardis, a place of immense wealth and prestige, yet spiritually lifeless, as warned in Revelation: "Wake up!" (Revelation 3:2). Walk through the ruins of once grand Temple of Artemis, a monumental symbol of pagan influence, and explore the Byzantine Church of Sardis, where early Christians sought revival in a city known for its complacency. Discover the impressive Gymnasium and Synagogue, reflecting Sardis’ diverse religious past.

Continue to Philadelphia, the Church of Endurance, praised for its unwavering faith. Wander through the Ruins of the Byzantine Basilica, an enduring testament to early Christianity, and see the ancient city walls and Roman columns, which once framed a thriving community. Finally, arrive in Laodicea, a city of great wealth and influence, yet spiritually indifferent—neither hot nor cold (Revelation 3:16). Explore the remnants of its once-lavish theatres, churches, and thermal baths, symbols of a society consumed by luxury but lacking in faith. Here, the message is clear: spiritual passion must never be replaced by complacency.

Transfer to the hotel after the end of the tour for the overnight stay.

Note: Today's total driving distance is 250 km (approx. 4.5 hours).

Overnight: Denizli

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

The final stop on our tour takes us to Ephesus, perhaps the most famous of the Seven Churches. Once a major centre of early Christianity. Visit the Library of Celsus, the stunning Great Theatre, and the Basilica of St. John, where the apostle is believed to be buried. Walk the ancient streets of Ephesus, a bustling Roman city where Paul once preached. We’ll also visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a peaceful sanctuary believed to be her final home. Ephesus is a city of great significance, both historically and spiritually, as we reflect on the call to return to our first love for Christ.

After the tour, transfer to Izmir Airport for your international flight.
