Day 1 - Arrival, Istanbul

Arrival in Istanbul and warm welcome by our team at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and settle in before a welcome dinner in the evening, introducing the upcoming journey.

Day 2 - Istanbul

Begin your day with a guided visit to Topkapi Palace, once the residence of Ottoman sultans for over four centuries. Continue to the legendary Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of world architecture that has served as a cathedral, mosque, and museum. Learn how its vast dome and mosaics reflect the religious and political transformations of Istanbul through the ages.Stroll through Hippodrome Square, the former social and sporting center of Constantinople. See the Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpent Column, and German Fountain, each telling a story of imperial ceremony and public life.

The tour concludes at the Istanbul Archaeology Museums, home to one of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts. Discover treasures from Mesopotamia, Anatolia, and classical antiquity, including sarcophagi and inscriptions that illuminate early civilizations.

Day 3 - Çanakkale via Troy

Depart for Çanakkale in the morning. Stop in Çanakkale for a memorable introduction to the legendary world of Troy. Visit the iconic Troy Horse, the modern replica that symbolises the epic tale of the Trojan War and offers a perfect photo opportunity along the waterfront. Continue to the Troy Museum, an award-winning cultural space that brings thousands of years of history to life through carefully curated artefacts, multimedia displays, and archaeological findings from the ancient city of Troy and the wider Troad region. Evening at leisure in Çanakkale.

Day 4 - Pergamon and Thyatira

Start the day with the journey to Pergamon, the former capital of Asia Minor, where power, intellect, and faith once collided. This city, renowned for its grandeur and influence, was a major centre of pagan worship, earning its biblical reference as the home of “Satan’s Throne” (Revelation 2:13). Walk through the Acropolis of Pergamon, where the imposing Altar of Zeus once stood. Marvel the ruins left from Great Library of Pergamon, once second only to Alexandria’s famed collection, and stand in the Pergamon Theatre, one of the world’s steepest ancient theatres, offering stunning hillside views.

Next, drive to Thyatira, a bustling trade city known for its guilds and commerce, but also for its struggle with false teachings. Explore the Ruins of Thyatira, where remnants of early Christian presence can still be seen among the columns and streets. After a day of discovery, you will drive to Izmir for a well-earned rest.

Day 5 – Smyrna, Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary

Step into the ancient city of Smyrna, a place of both prosperity and perseverance, where early Christians stood firm in their faith despite intense persecution. Known today as Izmir, this vibrant coastal city was once a powerful trading hub, praised in the Book of Revelation for its unwavering devotion. Wander through the city centre of modern Izmir once thrived under Roman rule.

The next stop on our tour takes us to Ephesus, perhaps the most famous of the Seven Churches. Once a major centre of early Christianity. Visit the Library of Celsus, the stunning Great Theater, and the Basilica of St. John, where the apostle is believed to be buried. Walk the ancient streets of Ephesus, a bustling Roman city where Paul once preached. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a peaceful sanctuary believed to be the final resting place of her. Conclude your day with a visit to a local leather factory to learn about centuries long craftmanship.

Day 6 – Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea

Travel to the once-glorious city of Sardis, a place of immense wealth and prestige, yet spiritually lifeless, as warned in Revelation: "Wake up!" (Revelation 3:2). Walk through the ruins of once grand Temple of Artemis, a monumental symbol of pagan influence, and explore the Byzantine Church of Sardis, where early Christians sought revival in a city known for its complacency. Discover the impressive Gymnasium and Synagogue, reflecting Sardis’ diverse religious past.

Continue to Philadelphia, the Church of Endurance, praised for its unwavering faith. Wander through the Ruins of the Byzantine Basilica, an enduring testament to early Christianity, and see the ancient city walls and Roman columns, which once framed a thriving community. Finally, arrive in Laodicea, a city of great wealth and influence, yet spiritually indifferent—neither hot nor cold (Revelation 3:16). Explore the remnants of its once-lavish theatres, churches, and thermal baths, symbols of a society consumed by luxury but lacking in faith. Here, the message is clear: spiritual passion must never be replaced by complacency.

Day 7 - Pamukkale, Antioch of Pisidia and Konya

Discover one of Türkiye's most extraordinary natural and archaeological sites. Begin your day admiring the surreal white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, where thermal waters cascade over limestone steps creating a breathtaking “cotton castle.” Then explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, where a well-preserved theatre, Roman streets, necropolis and sacred pool. Journey inland to the commanding site of Antioch of Pisidia, an important Roman city that became an early stop on the spread of Christianity. Set high above the plains near Yalvaç, the hilltop ruins include a monumental gateway, Roman theatre, agora (marketplace) and colonnaded streets.

Continue to the heart of Anatolia with a drive to Konya, one of Türkiye’s oldest cities and a centre of spiritual culture. Discover the legacy of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, the 13th-century poet and Sufi mystic whose message of love and tolerance resonates worldwide.

Day 8 - Konya to Cappadocia

Depart in the early morning for a scenic journey across the Anatolian plateau toward Cappadocia, following historic trade routes once used by caravans and pilgrims. En route, stop at the impressive Sultan Han Caravanserai, one of the finest and best-preserved Seljuk inns in Türkiye.

Continue onward to Cappadocia, arriving in this extraordinary volcanic landscape shaped by nature and human history. Begin your exploration with a visit to one of Cappadocia’s remarkable Ozkonak Underground City, carved deep into the soft rock and once used as refuge by early communities. The day concludes with a tour of the region’s iconic fairy chimneys, where wind-sculpted rock formations create a surreal and unforgettable panorama.

Conclude your day with a visit to a local carpet and ceramics cooperative to learn about traditional craftsmanship.

Day 10 - Cappadocia to Istanbul

Depart Cappadocia in the morning and transfer to the airport for a short domestic flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, begin exploring the vibrant commercial heart of the city with a visit to the historic Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets, offering a maze of colourful shops and traditional crafts. Continue to the atmospheric Egyptian (Spice) Market, where the aromas of spices, teas, and sweets reflect Istanbul’s role as a crossroads of trade for centuries. After the visits, transfer to your hotel for check-in and time at leisure to relax after the journey.
