Day 1 – Arrival, Gateway to the Kingdoms
Arrival in Marrakech and private transfer to your hotel. Marrakech served as a base city during Game of Thrones production and offers a dramatic introduction to Morocco’s imperial atmosphere. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Astapor by the Sea (Season 3)
Depart Marrakech for the Atlantic coast and arrive in Essaouira, one of the most recognisable Game of Thrones filming locations. Essaouira’s fortified harbour and Skala de la Ville were used as Astapor, the slave city where Daenerys acquires the Unsullied in Season 3. Walk along the historic ramparts, cannons, and sea walls featured in the series, and explore the medina streets used as background scenes.
Free time to enjoy the coastal atmosphere and fresh seafood. Return to Marrakech in the evening.

Day 3 - Mystic Pentos (Season 3)
Travel across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, a route frequently used for epic wide shots.
Arrive at Ait Benhaddou, the iconic fortified village used as Pentos in Season 3, where Daenerys meets the Spice King. Explore the ksar, climb to panoramic viewpoints, and visit exact filming areas. Continue to Ouarzazate for the overnight stay.

Day 4 - Astapor & Yunkai Sets

Continue to Kasbah Taourirt, whose architectural style mirrors the fortified cities of Essos and featured in multiple productions.

Day 5 - The Dothraki Sea Landscapes
Journey east through desert plains, oases, and ancient caravan routes. These landscapes are the environments used to portray the Dothraki Sea and Daenerys’ desert journeys. Arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes while dinner is served.

Day 6 - The Frontier of Essos
Morning in the Sahara with optional camel ride or guided desert walk. Continue along the Road of Thousand Kasbahs, passing fortified villages and dramatic valleys that echo the frontier cities and travel sequences of Essos. Visit Todra Gorge, whose towering canyon walls reflect the epic scale seen throughout the series.
Continue driving through Fes for the overnight stay.
