A visit to Topkapi Palace Museum with Harem section, the home of the legendary Ottoman Sultans for nearly 400 years old, and to the Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora, your guide will take you through the lifetime of Jesus and Mother Mary following the artifacts on the walls.

Day 1: Rest of Istanbul – Full-Day Tour,

Topkapi Palace & Harem: An extensive tour of the residence of the legendary Ottoman Sultans, now converted into a museum. It consists of several exhibition halls, such as the Treasury, the porcelain section, the armory, and the rooms devoted to holy relics.

And then, a delicious lunch in a quaint local restaurant.

City Walls Constantinople: Initially built by Constantine the Great,  surrounded the new city, protecting it against attack from both sea and land. As the city grew, the famous double line of the Theodosian Walls was built in the 5th century. Ultimately, the city fell from the sheer force of Ottoman forces on 29 May 1453 after a 6-week siege.

The Chora Church: (Kariye Muzesi), was originally built as part of a monastery complex outside the walls of Constantinople, to the south of the Golden Horn. Its fabulous Byzantine mosaics are set apart from the other major sights in the north-western corner of Old Istanbul.

Suleymaniye Mosque: Built under the order of Sultan Süleyman (Süleyman the Magnificent), drawn on the talents of the architectural genius of Mimar Sinan. The construction began in 1550 and finished in 1558.
This vast religious complex, called the Süleymaniye, Stands unmissably proud on the Istanbul skyline. The 16th-century Süleymaniye Mosque is one of the city’s largest and most beautiful mosque complexes, and the burial place of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent and his wife Roxelena.

Please note that the order in which sights are visited may vary, and this tour is also available as  two  separated half-day tours

• Hagia Sophia Museum is closed on Monday, replaced with Topkapi Palace
Museum
• There are no shopping stops made during our tour but if our guests would
like to do some shopping following the conclusion of the tour we can be of
assistance
• It is advised to wear conservative clothing when visiting mosques and
churches
• You are kindly requested to present yourself at the pickup point 15 minutes
before the preadvised pickup time
• Smoking is not permitted in vehicles or museums
