The Experience
This journey feels like discovering a Morocco that few travelers imagine: snow-covered Atlas peaks, cedar forests, mountain cafés and alpine villages set against the warmth, color and hospitality of the country’s great cities.
Some days begin on the slopes, others with a slow breakfast overlooking the mountains or a walk through Marrakech’s medina. The contrast is what makes the journey memorable—skiing in Africa, relaxing in refined mountain surroundings and returning to the energy of Moroccan streets, cuisine and architecture.
“Winter is not a season, it’s a celebration.”

Day by Day
The journey begins as Marrakech gives way to snow-dusted mountain roads.
Arrive in Marrakech and meet your private driver before traveling into the High Atlas Mountains. The road climbs through valleys and Amazigh villages toward Oukaïmeden or a nearby mountain property selected according to comfort and current snow access. Check in and enjoy the evening at leisure. Ski equipment fitting or a private briefing can be arranged for the following morning.
A flexible day shaped around the mountain, the snow and your own ability level.
Spend the day skiing or enjoying winter activities in the High Atlas. Private instruction, equipment rental and lift access can be arranged according to current operations and ability level. Because facilities are simpler than those found in major European resorts, each day is planned locally around the strongest available conditions. Non-skiers may choose guided snow walks, mountain viewpoints, relaxed lunches or time at the lodge. The schedule remains flexible throughout.

From snow-covered peaks to the color and energy of the Red City.
Return to Marrakech and begin a privately guided introduction to the city. Visit Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa and the area surrounding Koutoubia Mosque before entering the souks and Jemaa el-Fna. The evening is free, or a private dinner, hammam or food experience can be added.
Morocco’s modern face appears beside the Atlantic.
Travel to Casablanca and explore the city with a private guide. Visit Hassan II Mosque, subject to visitor schedules, before continuing through the Corniche, central boulevards and Habous Quarter. Enjoy the evening at leisure by the coast. Approximate driving: 250 km / 3.5 hours.
Cedar forests and alpine architecture introduce Morocco’s second winter landscape.
Travel inland toward Ifrane and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Arrive in the country’s best-known alpine-style town and settle into a property selected for comfort, wellness facilities and proximity to available winter activities. The remainder of the day can include snow play, a short orientation or time at the resort.
Cedar forests, gentle slopes and mountain calm shape the day.
Enjoy a flexible winter day in and around Ifrane and Michlifen. Depending on snowfall and local operations, the program may include recreational skiing, sledging, guided forest walks or private excursions through the Middle Atlas. The area is best suited to beginners, casual skiers and travelers who value atmosphere and relaxation as much as technical skiing.
